About CosyloftCosyloft's attic conversions were first thought of in the dark days of Negative Equity. The days when one's house was worth less than the mortgage-this caused a very hard time, especially for couples in small terraced houses and upstairs flats, often with only one bedroom.Couples stuck in their properties still wanted families but couldn't borrow money (except small loans possibly from Mum and Dad or friends.) Although Negative Equity is a thing of the past (hopefully) Cosyloft still offers the same economic package but with amazing style and space. ![]() Cosyloft does not alter the roof shape but usually can create a room in a small terraced house minimum 9'x 13' up to 12'x 20' depending on the existing loft size. The average cost of a finished room with access stairs, lighting, windows, plastering & power points is £5750+vat and the installation is always completed in 3 weeks. Our office staff are always polite and knowledgeable and will usually ask a few questions about your house to give us an idea of what we can offer you. After this our representative will call at an agreed appointment time to see you to measure and give an exact quotation for the work. If you would like to book into our schedule, we ask for a small booking fee of £200 this gives you a start date with us (and is then deducted from the overall cost). We then split the balance into 4 equal payments over the 3 week period, 2 payments in the first week, 1 payment in the second week & the final payment is upon completion when you have checked the job & are satisfied with the work (no monies are asked for up front!). |
